Com. Vinod, Circle Secretary BSNLCCWF, Com.Murugaiah and Com.Babu Radhakrishnan, leaders of BSNLEU and BSNLCCWF are on Hunger Strike in front of CGM office T.Nadu Circle demanding immediate reinstatement of the retrenched contract workers in Vellore. Com.S.Chellappa, Circle Secretary, BSNLEU is leading the struggle. A large number of workers are sitting in Dharna. A strike by contract workers is being organised tomorrow, 16 September and a massive dharna will be organised with participation  of about two thousand workers of both BSNLEU & BSNLCCWF.
Com.V.A.N.Namboodiri, President of both BSNLEU and BSNLCCWF met CMD A.N.Rai today and demanded immediate intervention and direction to the CGM T.Nadu to discuss and settle the issue by taking the retreched workers back.
