Former Chief Justice of Supreme Court, P.Sadasivam, has been appointed as Kerala Governor, by the President of India on the basis of the decision of the government.
Many eminent personalities have questioned the move of appointing a former CJ of Supreme Court to the post of Governor of a state. So far no CJ has been posted as Governor, since it has many implocations.
Our opinion is that this controversial move could have been avoided. But of course Modi Government may have its own compulsions.
