In its panic to do something to somehow bring financial viability to BSNL, the management is moving in the wrong direction. The CGM Kerala has issued orders transferring all the Civil Wing staff to the local SSAs. There was no discussion with the recognised unions before issuing such an order.
Earlier, there was a move to wind up Civil Wing, but on the strong protest of BSNLEU, the same was dropped. Now without any discussion or agreement, this contentious order is issued. We demand the management to cancel the order and discuss the same with the unions.
