Trinamool goons with support of the state police are attacking and terrorising the workers in W.Bengal. Union offices are being ransacked and demolished. There were attacks against BSNLEU offices also.
In the recent days Trinamool elements have once again tried to attack our workers who are on struggle on the demands of BSNL employees  and casual and contract workers. We congratulate Com.Animesh Mitra, Dy GS and Circle Secretary, BSNLEU, Com.Saibal Sengupta, AGS and Circle Secretary, Kolkata and other comrades for courageously defending the workers.
We strongly protest against such attacks on the workers and their unions and extend all solidarity and support to the W.Bengal Comrades.

The Prime Minister in his Independence Speech has clearly indicated that there will be no further Planning Commission. What does it mean? No Planning Commission or No Planning.
Anyhow, before taking such a crucial decision, a thorough discussion was required with all concerned, including the states.

Though it is three years since veteran trade union leader and CPI(M) PB Member Com.M.K.Pandhe passed away, it seems that he is still with us and his advices and guidances still ring in our ears.
He was a comrade who dedicated his entire life for the cause of workers. He was President of CITU for long years. He always was available for BSNLEU and all of us for seeking guidance and advise. Com.Pandhe passed away on 20 August 2011.
Red Salute to Com.M.K.Pandhe!
