The Department of Posts is on the move to install Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) on a large scale through out the country. Though ATMs were introduced in Post Offices one year back, it was limited to a few places. Now it will be installed in many more centres.
This is a good decision. People will get benefitted. There are about 11.77 Postal Account Holders in the country. Online Banking as also Mobile Banking will be introduced shortly.

success lies in maintenance by the post. they should not depend on any other agency for implementation and maintenance. because that agency may go with private operators lobby to spoil the purpose. we should also come out with atm to accept tele bill all the 24 hours in selected places.
