There will be 81.5 crore voters eligible to vote in the coming General elections 2014. This is as per the date released by the Election Commission. It is almost five times of the number of voters in the in the first General elections in 1952. It was 17.32 crores then.
The biggest democracy in the world is going to cast its vote in April-May 2014.
If 100 crores is the population is it only 18.5 crores are below 18? Is it right?Sir
The question is not clear. By the way, the population of India is more than 121 crores.
81.5 crores voters means they are above 18 years. If total population is 121 crores remaining is below 18years.
If 81.5 Crores voters means they are above 18 years. If total population is 121 crores it is around 38.5 crores are below 18 years. Is it so? roughly leaving not registered.
