The United Forum of Bank Unions (UFOB) has demanded that the working days in a week should be fixed as 5 days for the bank employees. This is one of the demands the Forum has put forth before the Bank Management along with other demands raised in the 10th Bi-partite Wage discussions.
I completely agree with this demand of the bank Employees. When the life has become so fast and the journey time taken for attending the office is increasing through traffic jams and also that the office can save energy charges for one day, thee is full justification for the demand. Further, the people may not suffer much because of the ATMs, e-banking etc.
The Bank Management has to seriously consider the same.
Sir,
I fully endorse the above views of Bank Employees union. Infact, All Young Employees of BSNL including all the DRs support this view for BSNL also.
I think the BSNL Mgmt & Unions must put forth this demand with rotational duties on all days of week.
Life is moving so fast, we can’t even give quality time to our Old age parents and our Infants, kids etc….
Most of us (Husband-Wife duo) are working so we need extra time to keep social life intact.
I give my unconditional support for this cause and i will ensure all DRs of all India support this demand of Union.
The banking sector to recruit more employees and improve the service to public for all the seven days instead of restricting to 5 days. Any time banking facility to be available to the public. Actually any day a public should be in a position to go to this type of service providing institution to get due service. 5 days a week demand to be opposed vehemently Sir. Customer should get service all the days.
The demand of 5 day week is prevalent in many PSUs. In Delhi, the government offices are working 5 days only. Most of the developed nations have 5 days week. The employees require time for the family welfare, social obligations etc. Where 24 hours or 7 days duty is necessary, it can be arranged by shift duties. 5 Days week is a very reasonable demand of the workers.
i fully endorse above views. and give unconditional support and will make sure that all young DRs will strengthen this move.
Already we are having more holidays coupled with RH etc. It is in shift we have to work for all 7 days Sir. Let us work 5 days a week personally but offices to be kept opened for all days. This only will improve our economy and productivity. We are plenty with manpower.
