The heroic indefinite strike of NLC employees against disinvestment called off.
The heroic 13 day old strike of the NLC employees against disinvestment, was called off yesterday. The 5% shares being disinvested by the Central Government is to be acquired by 5 public sector undertakings of the Tamil Nadu government. Congratulation to NLC Employees. They have set an example that and provided a hopeful lesson to us that even in case of disinvestment Central Sectors the state Government may be persued to purchase the share of the Central Sector and keep it into the people’s hand and keep the nature of Public Sector intact.
