The long pending demand of the BSNL workers for 78.2% IDA fixation w.e.f. 01-01-2007, has been achieved after a long struggle. The BSNL Management has issued the orders on the same today, 11th June 2013.
Congratulations to all the workers for standing firm and determined behind the Forum of BSNL Unions & Associations and implementing effectively all the action programmes called by the Forum. It is only under the threat of an indefinite strike, that the issue could be settled.
Thanks are also due to the DOT and BSNL for realising the serious situation and have fast-tracked for issuing the orders, even though at the last moment.

Dear Comrade, Due to the maximum effort of the BSNLEU and BSNLCCWF orders on minimum wage, EPF, ESI, and all other issues as per govt. decisions are forwarded to the CGMs and GMs all over India. In Kerala, W.Bengal, Kolkatta, T.Nadu etc. after continuous struggles, these are implemented. In many circles BSNLCCWF has been formed and struggles are taking place for implementing the orders. In many places the union has not even been formed. In such places, the management and the contractor are maximum exploiting the contract workers. In your place also, if the union is not formed, take initiative for forming the same. Without organisation and struggles, it is not easy to get the orders implemented. We are Dr. TTA 2008 batch. We are in dilemma, whether we are going to be benefited by this 78.2 % merger or not. Kindly clarify.
Namaste Sir, Main janana chata hoon ki jo ladke-ladkiyaan 1.1.2007 ke baad aaye unhe bhi iss 78.2% IDA ka laabh milega ya nahi. Maine bahut logon se poocha koi kehta hai milega koi kehta hai nahi milega……………..
Please cmd ko poochkar iss confusion ko door kijiye. Maine ek chota sa TTA hoon jisne december 2009 main gurgaon main 7100 ke basic pay scale main join kiya, jo agle saal 2010 main 13600 par revise hoke fix hui.
Poori Gurgaon TTA union aapke saath hai. Pls is confusion ko door kijiye. Dhanyawad !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

dear sir. we are wworking in bsnl office tumsar bhandara division of maharastra telecome circal BSNL on contract casual basis since-15 year {not employment detial D.O. appointment… salary .etc..) there contractor casual labour are 09 working tumsar branch of bsnl exchang but do not deduct labour epf (dose not creat labour registration in epf office ) from contractor (actul work is labour 9.00 am to 06 pm last 15 year ) but documentray submint the time to time contrctor to office job work….. whate can we do?

R/Sir, Congratulation that jac achieved victory in almost all demands. Now major demand is 30% to post 2007 employees. Sir as a conviner of jac pls do aggtation for the post 2007 employees so that pay errosin can be stoped and 30% can be achieved. Sir now pay loss is increasing day by day. Plz do dharna and strikes for this burning issue also. We supported each dharna and strike then why not a single dharna or strike for us(post 2007). Think about our geniun grience and use jac action to convinse mgmnt. Thank you sir ji
Dear Comrade, As stated several times, this issue is in the active agenda of the unions as well as the Forum. BSNLEU had already raised the issue in the National Council. We will persue the same seriously.

kindly clarify in r/o 78.2% IDA:-
1. Whether it will effect to DA, HRA, Transport Allowance, Skill Upg. Allowaqnce or not. Please intimate item vise.
2. As per orders no (NEVER) arrear will be paid while as per aggrement signed between unions and BSNL it was aggreed that arrear will be paid when company will come in profit. No such indication is in orders of DOT/BSNL.
3. There is no indication for increase or re calculation of pension in r/o pensioners.

The order on 78.2% IDA fixation has been issued yesterday. We are trying to assess the full implications of the order and clear information will be put in the websites of the unions/associations. Please wait for the same.
With regard to the pensioners, another order will be issued.

78.2% IDA merger has been achieved. Now we have to find out the way to make BSNL as a profitable PSU. The immovable asset like Qtr. and blank field may be one of the way of earnings.
The Forum of BSNL Unions/Associations have been on the job for the last two-three years and have given many suggestions to the government and the management. Recently Forum has given a detailed memorandum to the Prime Minister and the Group of Ministers for making BSNL financially viable, which has been put up in the websites of the unions. and printed in journals. We had met many Members of Parliament to put pressure on the government. We have also requested to all our SSA/Circle Secretries to meet the MP/s in their area and furnish a copy of the Memorandum with the request to take up with the Government. At the field level Works Committees are to be formed to discuss the developmental and service issues etc. for which order has already been issued. Please go through the Memorandum and if you have got more suggestions, please intimat the same.

It is well that the demand of 78.2% IDA Merger has been fulfilled by way of severe struggle and agitations like hunger strike but it is not understood why such identical steps are not being initiated to fulfill the demand of TSM & Casual Labourers who are striving for many years to get the justice even the minimum pay scale of Rs6050/- instead of Rs.5740/- is still under question, no efficacious efforts have been made in this regard to compel the management to agree upon the demands.
Please extend your kind co-operation in this so that the legitimate demands of TSM & Casual Labourers are fulfilled in no time.
BSNLEU as also BSNLCCWF have taken up the case and discussed with the management also. We will put strong pressure for settling the same.
