The private telecom companies have made it a practice to approach the courts for each and every decisions of the DOT and the government, which are not suitable to them. They will try to maximum pressurise the government and get what they require. In case, the pressure tactics fail, then they approach the courts. There is nothing wrong in approaching the courts, but the same is being done to maximise the profits.

This time, Vodafone, Air-tel and Loop Mobile have filed cases in Delhi High Court with regard to the extension of their 2G licences. The government has separated spectrum and licence, which was the system earlier. But these companies want the 2G spectrum allotment to be continued on the 2014 conditions, even after the period will be  over by 2014.
