Com.B.T.Ranadive, the Revolutionary Leader, left us 23 years back this day, 6th April. He was guide and advisor to BSNLEU and me.
We remember and pay our respectful homage to you!

5th April 1957 is a red letter day in the history of Kerala. It was on that day that the first Communist ministry with Com.EMS Namboodiripad as chief minister, was sworn in. This ministry brought in land reforms, reforms in education etc. which helped lakhs of people. The EMS Ministry was a path-maker.

The election campaign meetings at Rourkela and Samnbalpur on 3-4 April was an interesting experience. In both places, the President BSNLEU Com.V.A.N.Namboodiri and Circle Secretary Odisha  Com.P.R.Das were taken from the Railway Stations in big demonstrations with 40-50 comrades moving in front on bikes and scooters with the red flag of BSNLEU.
There were more than 300  comrades in the meeting at Rourkela which was addressed by com. P.R.Das, K.S.Singh, Dist. President Com.Sanjeev Mohanty and Dist. Secretary Com.B.K.Jena in addition to Com.Namboodiri.
At Sambalpur about 150 comrades participated.  Coms.V.A.N.Namboodiri, P.R.Das, G.Kumar CITU and Dist. Secretary B.R.Munda addressed.

The one day tour by Com.V.A.N.Namboodiri at Patna and Hajipur were attended by hundreds of workers who assured that BSNLEU will win in Bihar despite many hurdles created by vested interests.
The meeting at Hajipur at 1100 hours was presided by District President Com. A.K.Singh. Dist.Secretary Com.Janak Rai welcomed.Coms.B.P.Singh, Circle Secretary and Suniti Choudhari All India Org. Secretary addressed. Com. V.A.N. Namboodiri, All India President in his speech touched upon thenew recognition rules, achievements of BSNLEU, fight agai

nst privatisation etc.He called  upon the workersto vote and elect BSNLEU.
The next  meeting was held at Patna presided over by Com. B.P. Singh Circle Secretary. Com.Namboodiri spoke in detail.

The two days tour of Jharkhand on 31
st March- 1st April was a good experience. Along with Coms. Basisht Narayan, All India Vice-President and Naresh Lal, Circle Secretary, BSNLEU I visited Jamshedpur, Bokaro & Dhanbad and addressed well attended meetings. Circle Secretary BSNLMS Com.Maheswar Prsasad was also with us. On the way from Jamshedpiur to ,Bokaro we addressed a meeting at Purulia which is in W.Bengal.The District Secretaries were also present.
I am confident that Jharkhand will improve its position substantially.
