One after another, cases are being exposed about the undue and illegal intervention of the Central Government in the inquiries by CBI and its reports. The latest is the news that the CBI report on Coalgate Scam has been vetted by the PMO and the Coal ministry. This kind of intervention is completely unacceptable. The government is trying to influence the CBI to give the report according to its requirements. This should be opposed by all right thinking persons.
