The Central Secretariat of the Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU) greets the people of Tripura for electing the CPI(M) led left front government for a fourth term. We also congratulate the working class for reelecting a government which has the notable achievements of controlling the extremist/separatist forces and implementing development policies which benefit the mass of the people.
This victory also reflects the people’s support for the innovative schemes and programmes for the welfare of the people adopted by the incumbent government which constitute an alternative to the neoliberal policies of the regime at the centre.
We are confident that the new government will continue to strengthen this alternative policy frame work
