The Central Government is not at all worried about serious price hike. Each and every action of the government is resulting in steep rise of essential commodities. The recent high price hike of petrol was opposed by the entire people. Many of the UPA allies also opposed it. The Minister stated that at present there is no proposal to increase the hike in diesel and cooking gas.
That seems to have been a trick to soften the people. The latest information is that the diesel price is going to be increased by Rs. 4-5 for litre. This is only to help the private oil companies and to get more tax to the government. This has got to be stopped.
According to Shimla Labour Bureau (Govt. of India), the All India Consumer Price Index for Industrial Workers (2001=100) for the month of April’12 has increased by 4 points over the figures of March’12 (201) and stood at 205 in April’12. Accordingly, the rate of Price Rise comes to as high as 2% in only one month. In the month of March’12 also, the Index rose by 2 points over the previous month, thereby registering 1% rise in a single month. Annual Rate of Inflation on point to point basis for the month of April’12 comes to 10.22% as compared to 8.65% in March’12. Inflation based on Food Index attained the level of 10.66% in April’12 as compared to 8.16% in March’12. In this grave situation, the government is not doing anything to give relief to the common toiling masses, rather taking measures in the name of ‘Reform’ to push the prices of essential commodities further upward throwing their lives into severe misery.
LET’S FIGHT IT BACK AND NOW ITSELF!
Good Comment. Thank You comrade.
