I am very thankful for the appreciations and also criticisms from my visitors to the blog. The comments have helped me and inspired me in continuing the same. Maximum visitors have given various suggestions also. But sometimes there are comments using vulgar words and abuses, which are not appropriate and suitable for publishing and which will hurt the sentiments of others. I would only request to avoid such vulgar words and abuses which don’t benefit anybody and which no body will use face to face.
Why anybody use vulgar words and abuse ?

Sir, this is your first blog post where i Unconditionally endorse your views fully.
i again request to all my Colleagues, BSNL Friends & Staff members to not use any words/sentences which are not socially acceptable. Don’t stoop so low that you can’t stand up there after. i know you might have faced hardships and derogatory words from BSNLEU members which might be even harder than what Namboodiri ji had given hint.
i can understand the pains & sufferings of all the staff especially the Dr.TTAs, But this is not the way to speak to a “Senior Leader, Experienced Elder & Respected Personality”. We do have difference of opinions on some aspects but it does not give us right to abuse or drag down somebody. After all they are our own BSNL people. Pls provide proof and logic for your reasoning regarding your demands, its a different thing that Namboodiri ji will avoid it with its sheer intelligence. But pls don’t loose heart. We are young and we need to be patient and persistent with our efforts. There will be a Joyful Day for us soon.
I can relate to the agony of my brethren. Infact i also feel very low sometimes due to Selective Targeting by my local leaders & 1-2 higher officers.

As the recognised and representative union, BSNLEU is committed to take the issues of all the workers. Some issues are settled quickly, some are delayed and some are not settled at all. The achievement depends upon so many factors including the attitude of the management, the capacity of the union, the position taken by the government and also the financial position of the institution among other factors.I feel that the workers have supported and elected BSNLEU for the last four consecutive membership verifications because of the correct stand taken by the union and its pivotal role in settlement of many issues. BSNLEU was formed after BSNL was formed and was a small union compared to the recognised federations in the DOT for thirty years or more. BSNLEU has grown with the support of the workers and would like to remain so. At the same time, it has always demanded for recognition of unions on proportionate basis, which could not be done because of the opposition of NFTE in the first and second verifications. Even now, though BSNLEU is the recognised union, it continues its demand with the management for recognition of more than one union on proportionate basis.
Winning or losing in the verification is very important, but more than that taking the correct position in the interests of the workers is more important. That is the position always taken by bSNLEU and that is why it is supported by the workers all these years. It is not by abusing or through allegations against others that you get the support but by taking the correct stand and also explaining the demands and the achievements and the struggles organised in support of the demands. Abusive and vulgar language is only counter productive and helps nobody.
BSNLEU has also taken the initiative to bring all the unions together in the Joint Forum/ Joint Action Committee/ Forum of BSNL Unions/Associations so that the common issues of the workers could be solved. This has helped both BSNL as well as the workers. BSNLEU will continue to take this position in future also.
Thanks for the reply sir, i appreciate and fully realise the struggle by unions in past, i am a big supporter of unions and associations else Mgmt. will suppress us just like happened with SNEA leaders recently. but still i feel you have not completely posted my original post….Anyways…something is better than nothing.
sir, i have sent a request on BSNLEU Chq mail Id regarding selection of BSNL employee’s daughter in Sony’s popular singing show-Indian Idol. He needs support from all BSNL Family members. Details already been sent to BSNLEU Chq mail id. pls pursue it personally. He is a staunch supporter of BSNLEU unlike me. But as an employee i feel my duty to help him out.
