I met the Director (HR) today and demanded that the orders of the government and the BSNL Corporate office on wages, social security measures etc. to Casual/contract labour are got implemented by the field officers. Dir(HR) assured that these will be implemented.

RESPECTED SIR,
With great sadness that we had to tell all the packers last date 1-3-2013 work has been sitting by the officers. Whereas four months (July – August 2012 and January – February 2013), the salary was dues. Then the information seared with the DHANBAD Labor Commissioner, BSNL in talks with pay after which Ki Been agreed with the authorities. 22-03-2013 therefore assumes two month salary paid. While two months salary arrears. After labor negotiations and an agreement by officials came to us the message of these packers back to work again, not in all situations
In such a situation, we want you to our proper course performance and we get out of this crisis.

Thank you for taking interest about jamshedpur
labour problem but still they are suffering. Adament attitude
of our G.M. still continue. he is not taking interest to join
the senior labours.
please guide us what to do if the present situation
is continue for a long time? Another union is fully supported
to G.M. and also buttering. due to the bad condition our members
are suffering by memo and another way. please try to transfer him

There are no rules at present to regularise the contract labour in BSNL. BSNL Casual and Contract Workers Federation is trying its best to ensure minimum wages, social security measures etc. If you are not a member so far, kindly become member of the Union. I also do not know who you are and where you are working. When putting comments kindly mention the same.
