The demand of the staff side on NE-12 pay scale is put in the agenda of the BSNL Board Meeting to be held on 21st May. I met the CMD BSNL, Director (HR) and also Director (Fin) today and insisted that the same be approved without fail. I hope that the approval will be given by the Board.

All these issues have been taken seriously by the BSNL Employees Union and Joint Action Committee/Joint Forum and has gone on many struggles and strikes. That is why we have been able atleast to hold the present position despite the anti-worker policy of the government and the mismanagement. Kindly go through the earlier union journals and other records for further information.
tks for the reply sir could you tell me why government went to supereme court for extension of auction of 122 licences why they got extension the bsnl will get 40000/- crores out of that auction of 122 licences i e coming 10 years target it came on new delhi news papers that bsnl will get 40000/- crores out of that auction of that spectrum and my first question was that government was agrees to give our reserve fund money that is 18500/- crores and they swallowed the 650 crores arrears amount that is 18500/- government already promissed to give but that also from the next year of auction after auctioning one year ahead the date will be tks gopal

The government was compelled to cancel the licences on the basis of the Supreme Court judgment. It is sure that the government will get more money through auction. According to the government, they wanted the extension of time for the entire process of auction to be completed.But it has got no connection with the finance of BSNL. The amount will directly go to the government only. Although we have demanded that the Rs. 18,500 collected from BSNL towards spectrum charges should be returned to BSNL, the govt. has not taken any decision so far in the matter.
