The newly recruited JTOs and JAOs have been granted 5 additional increments to compensate for the loss in emoluments after the wage revision w.e.f. 01-01-2007. The newly recruited TTAs had similar loss in emoluments. They should also be granted five increments. BSNLEU has already taken the case with the BSNL management. There should not be any delay in ending this discrimination. Justice should be meted out to the newly recruited TTAs.

Dear Comrade,
There seems to be some misunderstanding. The pay scale of the TTA is of course more than that of the Telecom Mechanic. But it may happen that a worker having many years of service in the lower cadre may get more than the minimum of a worker in the higher cadre because of the many increments the worker in the lower had got. But the payscale of the higher cadre will always be more than the pay scale of the lower cadre.
