Quit India movement started on 9th August 1942 was one of the major agitation of the great Independence struggle. The Bombay session of the Indian National Congress in 1942 decided a major change in the strategy and decided to start the Quit India movement. This had a great impact and inspired the people of India to continue with the struggle.
India got independence on 15th August 1947 ending the British imperialist rule . Now the UPA II government is trying to be the subordinate ally of the United States, the leader of the capitalist powers in the world. History is forgotten by the present rulers. Or they have not forgotten and want history to be repeated?
