A very serious debate is raging in the Lok Pal Bill draft committee as also in the nation about the inclusion of the Prime Minister unde the ambit of Lok Pal Bill. While the Civil Society members of the committee heded by Anna Hazare insists for inclusion, the government members are opposing the same, stating the PM can be included after he demits the office.
I strongly feel that the PM should be inluded in the ambit of the bill. The present situation of the multiple scams and the chance that it may point to the Prime Minister can not be taken as the basis for opposing PM’s inclusion.
