The country has never witnessed such a series of scams in which ministers, politicians, big business houses, military top officers etc. are all involved. The country is being looted and the beneficiaries are those at the top. Now there is a curious turn, where the corruption charge has been raised by one of the big industrialist in the country. Ratan Tata, the head of the Tata industries have stated that he was asked to pay Rs.15 crore for starting air services and he rejected. It has so far not been contradicted by any minister. Why Tata is not divulging the name ?

Workers shot at by management in Ghasiabad.

14 Sunday Nov 2010

Some management has become so arrogant and all-powerful so that they can even shoot at agitating workers. That is what happened in Allied Nippon company in Ghasiabad. The management officers came to the place where the workers were agitating against retrenchment of seven workers. There was some exchange of angry words and all of a sudden, one of the officers fired shots at the workers. The workers of course reacted and beat the officers in retaliation. The anti-labour and pro-employer policy of the government is such that the managements are taking law in to their hands and attacking workers.
