One day after Raja has been sacked as Communications Minister, the irregularities and violations of rules in the 2 G tender have surfaced from all quarters – CAG report, Supreme Court Comments,  vigilance reports, media coverage and from earlier senior officers of the DOT including Secretaries, DOT. The demand of the opposition parties for a Joint Parliament Committee (JPC) is fully justified since a lot of top people are also involved. Even the  Prime Minister has been mentioned by the Supreme court for not taking any action.  The UPA Government has no other way, but to accept JPC as demanded by the opposition.
