BSNL management has denied bonus for 2009-10 to the employees on the plea that there is no profit for this year and instead there is loss of about Rs.1822 crore. Who is responsible for the loss? The major responsibilty lies with the government and the management only who through their anti-PSU policy and decisions have made BSNL loss making. Workers can not be punished for the same. Despite posting loss, crores of rupees are spent on purchasing luxury cars, foreign tours and unexplained expenditure by the top management. The productivity of the employees have increased even according to the CAG report. Workers will never allow to forego Bonus which they have achieved through sustained struggles.
