The Department of Telecom (DOT) approved the 78.2% IDA fixation for BSNL Employees which has been pending for about one year even after an agreement was reached between the Unions and the BSNL Management last June. The government had already taken decision earlier for this corrective step much earlier. This will be applicable to pensioners also, for which another order will be issued. BSNL is expected to issue the order today or tomorrow.
It is only because of the strike notice given by the Forum of BSNL Unions and Associations as also the continued pressure from the unions that this could be achieved. BSNL Management and DOT was helpful. Congratulations to all!
Sir, I have confirmed from corporate office today that BSNL staff recruited after 1.1.2007 won’t get get a single benfite from it. So, would ur union still go for strike from 12.6.2013 in order to support post 1.1.2007 recruited staff.

The present 78.2% IDA fixation is correcting a mistake of the government which it has corrected for government employees as well as PSUs. It is now being granted to the employees after strike notice and other agitational issues. Those all who got 68.8% will get the 78.2% now. BSNLEU has already taken the issue of 30% fitment/5 increments for those recruited after 01-01-2007, but the management has so far not agreed. Union is pressing for settlement of the same.
So, would BSNL employees recruited after 1.1.2007 also get the benefite of 78.2% IDA as well.
sir please settle all this issue earlier by strike notice for recruited after 1-1-2007.

i am hearin before 3 year that 5 incriment should be given to all tta as per the jto

today qualification of TTA is diploma but there is 70% candidate is btech
so for btech TTA must be write promotion examination after three year

today bsnl has recruited JTO. i am sure that thee is no IIT people seated in bsnl examination because of this type of issue.

if management this issue earlier then i am sure that bsnl get automatically 800000crore profit……. it is gone the loss of 10000 crore. if the employee is frustrated then it also gone loss and loss then please solve this issue earlier then u see than how bsnl get profit by the employee

Congrats for the achievement under your leadership. Most of the employees are very much happy on this success and on the pay hike. But a small group of employees like me recruited after 2007 are very much disappointed and frustrated.
Many times we have conveyed our grievances that occurred due to the wrong fixation of new pay scale for the Post 2007 Non-Executives to you and other leaders.
Being a member of the union under your leadership i thought you and the UNION will make some solution for our issues also. But as usual everything went in vein.
Now i don’t feel good to continue as a member of the UNION and hereby submit the membership cancellation request..

Dear Comrade, As I have stated several times, the issue of 30% / five increments have already been taken by the BSNLEU and maximum pressure is being made for the settlement. All issues are not settled at the same time. Some issues are settled early, some are settled later and some, unfortunately are not settled even after serious struggles. We can assure you that the Union is taking your issue without any fail. Resignation from membership is not a remedy.
A great achievement against injustice to the employees. Thanks to you to implement Unity for action and action for unity. This Unity of Employees should be consolidated for greater fight for survival of BSNL and interest of working class.
what will be the new scale of TTA after 78.2% revision?
The full impact of the orders on 8.2% will be studied after issue of the orders by Corporate office and informed.
Post 1-1-2007 Direct Recruit TTA’s of BSNL are very much disappointed after pay revision. These group of employees are not getting BENEFITS given to Pre- 2007 even a single coin. Please don’t forget, they are the BACKBONE for future BSNL. They are struggling / facing very very HARD to save BSNL. Any new technology is handling by these DR. TTA’s. But, 30% fitment benefit and 78.2 IDA merger is not getting by them. BSNL looks to them as STEP-MOTHERLY treatment. This is not a nice policy. For these reasons, some DR. TTA’s have resigned and joined to other Department like Doordarshan and AIR, etc. So, please rectify the same at the earliest.
As already told, BSNLEU, the recognised union, is on the job for getting justice to the post-2007 employees.

Regarding LDCE JTO RR, it will be better if the RR is ammended as:
TTA with 7 years in service
Or, Diploma in Electronics Engg. / Electrical Engg / Communication Engg / Radio Engg / Telecommunication Engg./ computer Engg. plus 7 years in service as Gp. C or Gp. D
Or B.Sc (Physics) – 60% with Computer knowledge plus 10 years in service as Gp. C or Gp. D
BSNL being a technical department, it will be better to give first preference to Technical employees in order to provide best Quality of Service to the nation. For example, There are many Departmentally promoted TTA’s / JTO’s / even SDE’s who does not possessed Technical Qualification / Computer knowledge. They don’t know to handle CDR software. At present only the Direct Recruit TTA’s can handle CDR.
So, please ammend the present . LDCE JTO RR to provide best Quality of Service to the nation.
Dear Comrade, BSNLEU has made many suggestions for the improvement of the Recruitment Rules for TTA, TM etc. Your suggestions can also be considered. But regarding certain other opinions I don’t agree with you.
